“We recommend ‘Cosplay Paradise’, with its huge collection of photos, as an excellent resource of video game cosplay.”

Review of “Cosplay Paradise 'Tengoku': All Costume Players Book”:

One of the earliest cosplay books we purchased, and continue to enjoy flipping through.  There are two volumes in the series, featuring video game cosplayers attending events throughout Japan.  Many characters from popular video games: Street Fighter, Vampire Hunter, Tekken, King of Fighters, Battle Arena Toshinden and Samurai Spirits.  Some anime and manga cosplayers from Sailor Moon, Macross 7, Urusei Yatsura and The Dirty Pair are included.  Both volumes are packed with cosplayer images and stats, as well as numerous photographs of celebrity cosplayers Luke and Michiru.  Documents numerous cosplay events, including dance parties and raves.  Photographs of both male and female cosplayers having fun.  We like the cosplayer makeover section, because they show what the person looks like before they get into costume.  Cosplayer interviews, manga, shopping directories and event listings.  Volume 1 contains a Mandarake cosplay section, and official Capcom cosplay idols photograph shoot with interview.  Volume 2 features a cosplay "how to", with detailed costume construction images for several characters.  We recommend "Cosplay Paradise", with its huge collection of photos, as an excellent resource of video game cosplay.

If you like video game cosplay, the "Cosplay Paradise" series is a great resource to see how others have designed and fabricated costumes.
