Review of Let's Go Cosplay Fan Magazine:
Cosplay reference materials are difficult to obtain in the United States, and this magazine is a wonderful addition to our growing collection. We recommend "Let's Go Cosplay Fan Magazine", for the quality of cosplayer photography as well as quantity of useful information. A special pictorial entitled, "Viva! Cosplayer Typhoon", includes 13 celebrity cosplayers in a variety of sexy costumes. Lovely twins, Luke and Michiru modeling game character and G-Taste fashions. This magazine also contains extensive reports of 6 cosplay events, with hundreds of photographs of both male and female cosplayers. An interesting section, "Cosplayer My Room Watching", chronicles the daily lives of 3 female cosplayers. Includes "before & after" photographs of the women in casual clothes and then in costume, as well as constructing and preparing their costumes for events. The "Cosplay Street- Special Item & Costum" section highlights cosplayers and details of their costumes. Cosplayers were asked what part of their costume was the most challenging and/or of interest to them. We liked the fact the photographs are well composed, lit properly and full-length (even including the shoes). The magazine offers useful tips on constructing Card Captor Sakura, Furikuri, Dead or Alive 2 and Final Fantasy IX costumes. Manga, cosplayer polls, shopping directories, website listings and so much more!
