Cosplayer Photograph

Japanese Text, Volume 1, Zero Entertainment, CP410-7002

Review of “Cosplayer Photograph Vol.1" CD-ROM:

Companion CD-ROM, by Zero Entertainment, to the "Cosplayer Photograph" hardcover book series.  Photo CD-ROM for both MAC and Windows, featuring over thirteen cosplayers in a variety of costumes, including characters from Cutey Honey, The Dirty Pair, Sailor Moon, Magic Knight Rayearth, Sentimental Graffiti, King of Fighter, Vampire Hunters, Street Fighters, Samurai Spirits, etc.  Race queen, waitress, and schoolgirl costumes pictured as well.  Three sizes of pics to choose from, and slideshow feature.  Lots of photos to review, more than the books.  A nice range of costumes depicted, some are obviously purchased while others are completely handmade.  We like the fact that many of women are smiling in the photographs, and appear to be having a good time.  Refreshing to see happy cosplayers, instead of brooding ones.  More mature photographs included on the CD-ROM - no brazen nudity, just pin-up fun.  Studio photographs of celebrity cosplayers Miho and Chiho (a.k.a. Luke and Michiru), as well as the sexy Ippongi Bang and popular Ren Kirihara (a.k.a. Ren Suzunari) inside.
